Voicemail transcript
Transcript of voice mail left by Stephen Archambault on Mark Archambault’s cell phone on September 12, 2007.
NOTES:
- "Ellen" is also known as Valerie
- Ellen is the mother of the kids who were in Smithfield schools
- Leslie is Stephen Archambault's sister, whom he was involved in a property dispute with at the time this voice mail was left. Stephen is telling his brother, Mark, that he suspects Leslie "turned in" Ellen in to the school department.
Hey friend it’s me Stephen it’s about quarter of ten on... I don’t even know what night, Wednesday night, I just got back from a long day and I get a call from Valerie [AKA Ellen] and Mom saying the police were up around the corner from Ellen’s house watching the house today, twice the car came back.
I guess we’ll find out in a day or two from ugh, Bob O’Brien at the school, whether, Leslie can say she didn’t turn them in, but somebody turned her in, turned Ellen in to the school department. I hope that that’s not the case; ugh I really hope that’s not the case.
I’ve been trying to talk to Mom about taking as much time with everything and calming herself down and that Leslie loves her and trying to heal things friend. And obviously if I wanted to be a bad guy I could have easily have done things that, that people are saying I was gonna do, ugh a long time ago.
But I’m not that guy and I’ve been trying to promote calmness and healing and peacefulness and then this, and with everything else and then this. And ugh she swears she didn’t do it and if she did it um I’m a forgiving man but I’ll tell you I think that pretty much put the nail in the coffin with her mother and all her nephews and nieces and her sister and everything for ever. It would be a horrible thing.
But we’ll find out cause once O’Brien gets going on it, he gets going on it, and I’m sure a phone call will come in to me.
Ugh, ironically I can probably fix the thing um, but um, um you know it’s unbelievable, unbelievable that this could possibly happen, unbelievable.
