Today the Rhode Island Supreme Court refused to consider Bernie Hawkins appeal from the Board of Elections. This is total victory in the RI courts. The Smithfield Board of Canvassers is scheduled to meet Friday at 5:30 pm to certify the Town Council election. On November 4th the people of Smithfield spoke, 37 days later they are being heard.
